ADJUSTABLE FRAME GEOMETRY
- New flip chip feature lets you change the head tube and seat tube angles, as well as the bottom bracket height, to fine-tune handling for varying trail conditions and individual riding style.

- Larger 29-inch diameter wheels optimized to roll over rough terrain with balance and stability, giving you the momentum to tackle technical climbs and the confidence to fly on fast, rugged singletrack descents.
PROGRESSIVE TRAIL DESIGN
- Lightweight Advanced-grade composite frameset features a longer reach and steeper seat tube for aggressive trail riding and improved climbing capabilities. Updated Maestro rear suspension features 120mm of rear wheel travel paired with a 130mm fork up front.
ADVANCED COMPOSITE TECHNOLOGY
- Giant’s High Performance Grade raw carbon material is used to produce this custom frame material in our own composite factory with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle of these framesets is assembled and molded as one continuous piece in a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
ADVANCED FORGED COMPOSITE TECHNOLOGY
- A state-of-the-art high-pressure molding process is used to produce complex-shaped carbon fiber components that are lighter, stiffer and stronger than similar components made from aluminum. This technology is used in critical performance parts such as Maestro Suspension rocker links.
FLIP CHIP - MAESTRO
- The flip chip allows riders to quickly adjust the geometry of their Maestro-equipped mountain bike to better suit how and where they ride. It lets riders change the headtube/seattube angles and bottom bracket height via eccentric (offset, two-position) hardware located on the upper rocker arm.
MAESTRO SUSPENSION TECHNOLOGY
- Four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages all work together to create a single floating pivot for the most active, efficient and independent suspension system on the trail.
OVERDRIVE
- Giant’s original oversized fork steerer tube technology. Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/4” lower and 1 1/8” upper for road, 1 1/2” lower and 1 1/8” upper for mountain) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.

FlexPoint Pro Suspension Technology
Developed as a superlight rear suspension setup for XC bikes that demand efficiency, control and responsive handling, FlexPoint Pro is a linkage-driven, single-pivot system that delivers 100mm of rear-wheel travel. It’s engineered with a full-composite swingarm that significantly reduces overall frame weight.

Float up technical climbs and sail down chunky descents. This all-new, full-composite trail bike gives you 140mm of smooth Maestro rear suspension and all sorts of adjustability. You can dial in frame geometry and switch the rear wheel size for the terrain.
More Travel
New Maestro rear suspension adds 5mm of travel over previous generation, going from 135mm to 140mm. A trunnion mount shock and Advanced Forged Composite rocker arm combine for a longer stroke with a smooth, active feel. Rear suspension should be paired with a 150mm travel fork for superior confidence and control on technical singletrack terrain.
Adjustable trail geometry
A three-position Maestro flip chip lets you dial in frame geometry for your riding style and terrain. The high setting adds more ground clearance, a good option for tight, technical terrain. The low setting creates a slacker head angle and lower bottom bracket for confident handling at higher speeds. The middle position is neutral. In addition, a new headset flip chip provides 10mm of reach adjustment.
Rear wheel options
All models come with 29-inch front and rear wheels, but the flip chip lets you opt for a mixed wheel setup including a 27.5 rear. The stock setup optimizes stability and roll-over speed, while a 27.5 rear wheel delivers a snappier feel and more saddle-to-tire clearance. Some riders favor this “mullet” setup for riding steep, technical terrain.
