When Team Jumbo-Visma decided it was time to race XCO, they came to us for the answer. The ZHT-5 marks a new era for Cervelo and the team, as we go racing together. Our engineering expertise has already been proven in cyclocross (R5-CX) and gravel racing (Aspero), and now we've upped the ante and designed a mountain bike worthy of the Cervelo name. ZHT-5 is a Cervelo through and through: fast, efficient, and fun to ride. The 69-degree head tube angle, modern reach, and short chainstays combine to make a bike that's stable at speed and nimble enough for pack racing. There's room to maneuver in the cockpit, whether you're darting inside on an uphill hairpin, or hanging off the back to make time on the descent. SPEED FIRST - Our mantra is to make riders faster. And doing that means creating bikes that turn power into forward motion as efficiently as possible. Nothing does this more effectively in dirt than a hardtail. But power is nothing without control, so we focused on making a rapid cross-country race bike that still handles confidently in technical sections, feeding the desire to ride faster. STIFF, LIGHT & READY TO FIGHT - Weighing in at just 907g (size Medium), ZHT-5 is a featherweight fighter with the punchy turn of pace that only a hardtail can deliver. Decades of making frames built for the strongest sprinters in the world has fed into a super stiff mountain bike design that propels you to the front without compromising weight or ride quality. MODERN GEO FOR THE MODERN XC RIDER - If you've not ridden a hardtail for a while, you'll be surprised at how the ZHT-5's 69-degree head tube angle, 457mm reach (size L), and 430mm chainstays feel progressive and refreshingly modern. If you've ridden them all your life, you'll be baffled at how we've managed to eke out yet more performance from such a clean and simple design. The ZHT-5's geometry puts you in the driving seat to carve up all the tight hairpins and features that litter the ups and downs of today's XC trails. NOT OUR FIRST RODEO - We know from winning cyclo-cross World Champs that when the going gets gritty, threaded bottom brackets are the best way to go. ZHT-5 adopts the BSA threaded standard to meet the strength, stiffness, durability and serviceability needs of racers and race mechanics alike. It also makes it the ideal winter training companion.

The Soloist. It's a name from deep in our history, but immediately familiar to anyone with bike racing memories extending back to the early-2000s. It was the weapon of choice for top World Tour contenders on CSC and the Cervelo Test Team, and we're bringing it back for a new generation. The new Soloist is designed for the week-in, week-out rider and racer who can only justify one high-performance bike. It balances light weight and aerodynamic advantages to deliver a bike that really is 'just right'. Soloist comes in a hair lighter than S5, but significantly more aerodynamic than R5, and borrows the threaded bottom bracket standard you find on the R5-CX. It's a race bike that can accommodate mechanical and electronic shifting, can hammer out the training miles in all weather, and yet still has the chops to leap off the front at that decisive moment. That's the Soloist.

We engineered Áspero for pure, unapologetic speed, ready to take down finish lines, KOMs, PRs, and FKTs. A bike built without limits, for the riders looking to test them. It's stiff-Classics-racing stiff and performs like you'd want a road bike to perform off-road. We think that makes sense, and it's what we were trying to do when we were stuffing bigger tires into our existing frames and swapping in aftermarket forks to get a 40mm tire up front. - Multiple Configurations We designed Aspero with clearance for up to 700c x 40mm tires or 650b x 49mm tires. Of course, there are variables—rim width, tire casing, and tread depth—which will affect final clearance. We always recommend 4mm of clearance between the tire and frame. **New Shimano road (not gravel) 12-speed front derailleurs reduce tire clearance in the rear of the frame to 700 x 38c or 650b x 45c. - Two Position Adjustment Trail—front-wheel response to rider input—is the most critical factor in high-velocity handling. Flipping the two-position "Trail Mixer" to compensate for the difference in circumference between a 650b and 700c tire maintains consistent handling by maintaining consistent trail figures. - Balanced Handling Stiffness and handling work together to ensure the bike tracks predictably and responds immediately to critical pedal and bracing inputs.

The Soloist. It's a name from deep in our history, but immediately familiar to anyone with bike racing memories extending back to the early-2000s. It was the weapon of choice for top World Tour contenders on CSC and the Cervelo Test Team, and we're bringing it back for a new generation. The new Soloist is designed for the week-in, week-out rider, and racer who can only justify one high-performance bike. It balances light weight and aerodynamic advantages to deliver a bike that really is 'just right'. Soloist comes in a hair lighter than the S5, but significantly more aerodynamic than the R5, and borrows the threaded bottom bracket standard you find on the R5-CX. It's a race bike that can accommodate mechanical and electronic shifting, can hammer out the training miles in all weather, and yet still has the chops to leap off the front at that decisive moment. That's the Soloist. - Fast Like S5, Light Like R5 Soloist sits right between S5 and R5 on the performance scale, while having a price tag that’s less World Tour, more Road Trip. It’s about 250g heavier than R5, and 250g lighter than S5. It’s 190g slower than S5, but 126g faster than R5. You get the idea. It’s the ‘just-right’ answer for the rider trying to find a smart, intentional compromise. - Looks Like A Race Bike, Rides Like A Race Bike We took the handling geometry for the Soloist directly from R5. The R5 is beloved by pros and amateurs alike for its poise, stability, and precision when that killer climb turns into an even more killer descent. Soloist benefits from our decades of race bike geometry development, and comes out of the gate ready to go. - Hidden From The Wind, No Bleed Necessary The cable routing is inside the frame for aerodynamics but doesn't go through the stem. We developed our own system that threads the cables under the stem but through the bearing cap. Whether your position changes or you loan the bike to a friend who uses a different stem length, you won't need to bleed the brakes to swap the stem. - Clearance To Buzz The Tower The Soloist fits tires up to 34mm (measured), and wheels wide enough to support them. - BBRighT-47 The BBRighT-47 bottom bracket, which first appeared on the R5-CX, is ideal for those who log big miles but don't have a pro wrench checking the bike over every day. It makes BB swaps a breeze (convenient if you're burning through hand-me-down components) and extends the life of the frame.

Progressive but racy, ZFS-5 was built for today's evolving XCO courses - it has to pedal well and handle quickly, but also take on the chunks, jumps, and drops littering the circuit. ZFS-5's 67.8-degree head tube angle delivers the precision required for elbow-to-elbow hole shot sprints, and the confidence to let off the brakes when the track gets rough. And in 120mm-outfitting, the 66.6-degree head angle will give you the extra confidence to push harder and ride faster, even when the trail gets a bit...hellish. - Flat Bars, Suspension, Cervelo? World Cup season is here, and we’re all in. The Z bikes—the ZHT-5 and the ZFS-5, our hardtail, and full-suspension, respectively—made their race debut at the Nove Mesto World Cup. The pilots? When Team Jumbo-Visma decided it was time to race XCO, they came to us for the answer. The ZHT-5 marks a new era for Cervelo and the team, as we go racing together. Our engineering expertise has already been proven in cyclocross (R5-CX) and gravel racing (Áspero), and now we've upped the ante and designed a mountain bike worthy of the Cervelo name. - Speed First Our mantra is to make riders faster. - Stiff, Light & Ready To Fight Weighing in at just 907g (size Medium), ZHT-5 is a featherweight fighter with the punchy turn of pace that only a hardtail can deliver. Decades of making frames built for the strongest sprinters in the world have fed into a super stiff mountain bike design that propels you to the front without compromising weight or ride quality. - Modern Geo For The Modern XC Rider If you’ve not ridden a hardtail for a while, you’ll be surprised at how the ZHT-5’s 69-degree head tube angle, 457mm reach (size L), and 430mm chainstays feel progressive and refreshingly modern. If you’ve ridden them all your life, you’ll be baffled at how we’ve managed to eke out yet more performance from such a clean and simple design. The ZHT-5’s geometry puts you in the driving seat to carve up all the tight hairpins and features that litter the ups and downs of today’s XC trails. - Not Our First Rodeo We know from winning cyclo-cross World Champs that when the going gets gritty, threaded bottom brackets are the best way to go. ZHT-5 adopts the BSA threaded standard to meet the strength, stiffness, durability, and serviceability needs of racers and race mechanics alike. It also makes it the ideal winter training companion.

We engineered Aspero for pure, unapologetic speed, ready to take down finish lines, KOMs, PRs, and FKTs. A bike built without limits, for the riders looking to test them. It's stiff-Classics-racing stiff and performs like you'd want a road bike to perform off-road. We think that makes sense, and it's what we were trying to do when we were stuffing bigger tires into our existing frames and swapping in aftermarket forks to get a 40mm tire up front MULTIPLE CONFIGURATIONS We designed Aspero with clearance for up to 700c x 40mm tires or 650b x 49mm tires. Of course, there are variables—rim width, tire casing, and tread depth—which will affect final clearance. We always recommend 4mm of clearance between the tire and frame. TWO-POSITION ADJUSTMENT Trail—front-wheel response to rider input—is the most critical factor in high-velocity handling. Flipping the two-position "Trail Mixer" to compensate for the difference in circumference between a 650b and 700c tire maintains consistent handling by maintaining consistent trail figures. BALANCED HANDLING Stiffness and handling work together to ensure the bike tracks predictably and responds immediately to critical pedal and bracing inputs.

It's about 250g heavier than R5, and 250g lighter than S5. It's 190g slower than S5, but 126g faster than R5. You get the idea. It's the 'just-right' answer for the rider trying to find a smart, intentional compromise. LOOKS LIKE A RACE BIKE, RIDES LIKE A RACE BIKE We took the handling geometry for the Soloist directly from R5. The R5 is beloved by pros and amateurs alike for its poise, stability, and precision when that killer climb turns into an even more killer descent. Soloist benefits from our decades of race bike geometry development, and comes out of the gate ready to go. HIDDEN FROM THE WIND, NO BLEED NECESSARY The cable routing is inside the frame for aerodynamics, but doesn't go through the stem. We developed our own system that threads the cables under the stem, but through the bearing cap. Whether your position changes or you loan the bike to a friend who uses a different stem length, you won't need to bleed the brakes to swap the stem. CLEARANCE TO BUZZ THE TOWER The Soloist fits tires up to 34mm (measured), and wheels wide enough to support them. BBRIGHT-47 The BBRighT-47 bottom bracket, which first appeared on the R5-CX, is ideal for those who log big miles but don't have a pro wrench checking the bike over every day. It makes BB swaps a breeze (convenient if you're burning through hand-me-down components) and extends the life of the frame.

ENGINEERED COMPLIANCE - Advanced-grade composite frame and fork are specifically engineered for endurance road riding, delivering a smooth and efficient ride quality that minimizes fatigue on long rides. The new D-Fuse components work together to further absorb road shocks and vibrations. TOTAL CONTROL - New Contact D-Fuse handlebar features ergonomic shaping and an 8-degree flare for comfort and control on all-day rides. Wide, alloy rims are optimized for high-volume tubeless tires (up to 38mm), providing predictable handling and stability from asphalt to cobbles. ADVANCED COMPOSITE TECHNOLOGY - Giant’s High Performance Grade raw carbon material is used to produce this custom frame material in our own composite factory with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle of these framesets is assembled and molded as one continuous piece in a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction. COMPACT ROAD DESIGN - Introduced by Giant with the professional Team ONCE in the 1990s, Compact Road revolutionized the look and feel of high-performance road bikes forever. A downward sloping toptube (from the headtube to the seattube) creates smaller front and rear triangles for a lighter, stiffer bike. It also makes it easier for riders of all sizes to have a perfect fit. TUBELESS SYSTEM - Fewer flat tires. Greater traction. Less rolling resistance and a smoother, faster ride. Giant’s Tubeless System makes it easier than ever to experience all these benefits. OVERDRIVE AERO - Found inside the head tube of the all-new Propel range, the D-shaped fork steerer tube and corresponding spacers provide an extremely aerodynamic, easier to service system of internally routed brake and derailleur cables.
