HAUL ASS, NOT CARGO In 2019, Áspero took the gravel world by storm, heralding a “new era of speed in gravel.” Fun, but flat out. The new Áspero remains true to its original brief, but with some improvements: a threaded BB shell, neater cable routing, and a UDH-compatible derailleur hanger for those who want to use SRAM’s Transmission drivetrains. And it’s more aero, of course. In the case of Áspero, aerodynamic performance is less about pure speed as a result of drag reduction, and more about conservation of energy. After a big day in a headwind, the three watts saved over the previous Aspero might add up to one less energy gel your stomach has to digest—WORTH IT. In addition to the drag reduction, we also dropped the seat stays to give a bit more compliance out back, and reduced front-end stiffness slightly to make the last hours of a long race less painful. Between those dropped seat stays, we added in a bit more clearance for mud, too, taking what we learned from R5-CX (and the Unbound mudfest in 2023). It’s a lot of seemingly small improvements, but they add up to a lot. The result is a bike that feels a lot like the original Áspero, but is faster, more comfortable, and more versatile. THREADED BOTTOM BRACKET Aspero uses the asymmetrical T47a threaded bottom bracket we pioneered on R5-CX. It’s a simple, rider-serviceable interface that allows us to deliver the benefits of BBRight in a more user-friendly form. UNIVERSAL DERAILLEUR HANGAR We used SRAM’s Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) standard on the new Aspero. ICR Internal Cable Routing is carefully guided along the best path with no rub or rattle, and is optimized for both traditional and electronic shifting systems. Dynamic Structure The large majority of torsional and lateral loads are handled by the lower spine of the frame. The headtube, downtube and chainstays resist twisting and transmit power to the rear wheel. There is no doubt about it, resistance to flex in the bottom of the frame translates directly to more watts to the wheel and a sensation that power transfer is instantaneous. LOCKR Our Carbon frame offers a storage area inside the downtube, hidden behind the water bottle cage, where there is space for the tube, pump or CO2 cartridge, as well as a selection of tools.

Considering the bike as a package means working with component and wheel designers right from the start to optimize stiffness and weight. RIG ID IN ALL THE RIGHT PLACES But having the lightest bike is worth nothing if it isn’t stiff and efficient. When we designed Orca, we started with a target rigidity to ensure that even the strongest climbers could be sure of efficient power transmission. DESCENDED FROM GREATNESS Take one look at the all-new P-Series, and you’ll notice a striking resemblance to our flagship TT bike, the P5. P-Series benefits from all the racing, wind tunnel time, and testing required to make the P5 the fastest TT bike in the World Tour, but adds a couple features that make it a perfect companion for a triathlon of any distance. P-Series uses a fork with a D-shaped steerer tube and round stem interface. This means you can use whichever basebar and extensions you prefer, and make changes if your fit or preference changes. It’s also significantly more adaptable if you have very specific fit requirements. Increased wheel and tire clearance, reduced aerodynamic drag, neater cable routing, and Cervelo’s first internal frame storage all add up to create the bike of choice for those looking to make the most of the time between T1 and T2. FREE SPEED The new P-Series frame is 5.9 grams faster than the outgoing one, but the added tire clearance makes room for the Reserve 52/63 wheels, and 29mm Vittoria tires, which combine for a 30 grams or 3.5 watts savings vs the Reserve 50/Vittoria 28 combo. IN-FRAME STORAGE New this year on the P-Series, the in-frame storage is designed for a tube, small multi-tool, and a CO2 canister. The hatch is easily removable with or without a bottle in place—just flip the lock and pull. FUEL FOR THE RUN In addition to the all-new in-frame storage, we still ship every P-Series with the Smartpak 400, our top tube-mounted bento box, which makes fueling on the bike much simpler without sacrificing aerodynamics. FIT FOR SPEED The P-Series is all about adapting to the athlete. Maximum stack increased to 53mm, and we include spacers to bring the basebar up that high. Fitting and positions are evolving, and P-Series offers the most flexibility in an incredibly fast package.
